Becoming more Assertive

Achievable

Realistic

Measurable

Time-Oriented

Specific

I can keep a tracker on my planner of times I have said "no" to someone and instead expressed my feeling

Learning to say "no" when I already have a lot of responsibilities

Understanding that taking too many responsibilities will not allow me to concentrate and put 100% of my effort into each task

Journaling of how I feel each week considering the amount of responsibilities I took on will allow me to write my thoughts on paper and write how I truly feel.

This can then help me better identify if I am doing a good job at setting boundaries and saying "no" or if I need to continue practicing on saying "no"

Yes, this is a achievable goal.

It is one that requires self-reflection but can definitely be achieved as I begin to learn more about myself and the amount of work that is perfect for me to balance. It is all about work-life balance.

This is a goal that will take a while. Quitting a habit like always saying "yes" to new projects is something that requires acceptance and self-reflection.

I must understand that although, I am passionate about a project presented by the Luskin Orthopaedic Institute for Children or other school activities, I must learn about the importance of self-care and ensure that I am not taking too much than I can handle.

Time will tell. Through my journaling and stress level planner, I will be able to view my progress and better reflect on how I can improve.

Yes, it is achievable

Learning how to say "no" to people and setting boundaries is something that I know a lot of people struggle with, but that doesn't mean that it isn't possible to quit this habit.

Although, taking on projects is not a negative thing, it is important to realize when enough is enough. We cannot complete a task if we, ourselves are not well.

It is all about taking some time in viewing "no's" as a way of establishing boundaries and ensuring that I do not experience burnout.

Therapy

Therapy can provide me a safe space to express my emotions and realize things about myself I never took the time to realize.

It can help me better space out my time and set boundaries.

Reduce stress and help alleviate the workload I put on myself.

It can help me better communicate with my family, friends, and colleagues if I ever feel like something is invalidating my feeling or time.

It can allow me to talk about my concerns and worries with someone.

In turn, it can allow me to have a clearer mind and find new ways on how to tackle hardships.

Can help me channel and release some stress

Will help with positive self-imaging, elevate my mind, body, and soul

Can help with my assertiveness as I find new hobbies and feel more confident about myself overall
