Claudius and Laertes plan a duel between Hamlet and Polonius's son, where Laertes would assist with a sword impregnated with poison.
Gertrude dies of poisoning after drinking a cup of poisoned wine, which Laertes mentions was planned by King Claudius.
Hamlet kills Claudius after learning that he killed both of his parents, however he later dies.
