Vietnam National Temple is eye-catchingly designed with a yellow awning made of natural stone. The lamp array on the ceiling is meticulously arranged, in the middle of each lamp compartment is a lotus image symbolizing the spread of Buddhism.
Currently, Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda has an area of 11,000 square meters and has become the cultural and administrative center of our country's Buddhist church
General
History
In 1988, Venerable Tu Nhon, applied to regain ownership. However, it was not until 1993 that the application was resolved, the area of the pagoda was reduced to 3,712 square meters, and the originally built tower was still unfinished.
Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda in Saigon was built by the Unified Buddhist Church of Vietnam in 1964, on an area of more than 4 hectares.
After many years of renovation, Vietnam Quoc Tu Pagoda was officially restored with many items in 1993 and in 2014, this pagoda was completely rebuilt, the inauguration ceremony was held in November 2017.
