- Carry oxygen rich blood away from heart
- Largest artery is called AORTA
Capillaries
- Tiny blood vessels that carry blood between arteries and veins, connecting them together
- Deliver oxygen and other nutrients to other cells
- Remove carbon di oxide and other waste products from body
Veins
- Carry blood back to the heart
- Thin and not flexible but larger in diameter
