Spyware is a type of malware that finds information about users, their computers or company information
The information is then sent to a hacker who is able to misuse it
adware
pop up ads which leads to malicious downloads and websites
Phising
prepetrator sends out thousands if not millions of emails to convince people to click their links
usually with improper grammar, asking user to verify and a sense of urgency

sense of urgency
poor tone
hacking
exploiting vulnerabilities
their targets are out of date software and unpatched software
Pharming
Hackers hack the users computer or the dns address in order to redirect the user to a different address
when the user enters a web address, i will go to the wrong address even if the users enter the correct one, this is in no way the users fault
