In the forests, we see big tall trees and little plants on the ground.
Small plant doesn't need a lot of light, so they live under the shade of other trees.

12.Have big leaves that have taken sunlight in the summer. In winter, they have no leaves.
That's because their leaves change color and fall off in the fall.

17.They can adapt to very cold winter because they have needle leaves that can hold the moister. The leaves have a thick waxy coat. That's a special adaptation of the pine trees.

21.Animals that are trying to eat the plant don't like this feeling.
22.That's an adaptation this plant has, to keep it protected.
