        Cool burns with cold water 10-20 mins for 1st-degree burns. 2nd degree burns use water, don’t pop blisters, cover the burn with a bandage or sterile dressing, and use pain relief if needed. Third-degree cover with a bandage or sterile dressing, seek help immediately.
    - - Be careful when picking the glass up, try not to breathe in when close up with the glass, do not try to blow the glass away, and cause flying glass pieces to be inhaled by others. Do not touch sharp edges.

        Ensure safety in the area and no further risks can happen. Use gloves or wash hands thoroughly before touching cut/blood. Assess the injury - major or minor blood? Rinse the wound with water and remove glass or debris, use antiseptic, use antibiotic ointments, cover the wound, and dispose of glass. Seek help if needed.
    - - Do not swing a hammer or muck around with a hammer. Only use for one purpose which is to break the substance. Make sure to keep your hands/fingers safe. Lightly hit the substance and do not go too hard.

        Eye injuries can occur from flying substances, if they occur, do not rub or touch the eye, cover the eye, and seek immediate medical help. Head injuries call for professional medical assistance.
