Synchronous vs Asynchronous Photovoice Study
Resul of Discussion
Three themes resulted from inductive thematic analysis, they are the benefits and challenge of online learning, synchronous vs asynchronous learning, and the future of online learning
Benefits and challenge of online learning
Participants highlighted the convenience and cost-effectiveness of online learning. They found it safer during the pandemic.
Challenges included the cos of internet data and technical issues like poor signal reception.
Synchronous and asynchronous learning
Some preferred synchronous learning for its practicality and interaction, while others found asynchronous learning more engaging and cost-effective.
Technical issues were also encountered in asynchronous learning
Future of online learning
Participants expressed the need for improved internet access and support in the form of free internet data or Wi-Fi.
Conclusion: Challenge arise, including the need to balance synchronous and asynchronous learning, and the high cost of internet data in underdeveloped areas
