Ethical Code of Conduct
By: Eric Karam
Think Before Acting
Always think before acting to prevent any actions taken or words said out of emotional distress.
Taking time to think before acting can stop someone from making decisions based on emotional responses.
In times of distress people tend to make decisions and regret them later.
Honesty
The whole "honesty is the best policy" is true.
Lying never helps and almost always results in trouble.
Communicate in an honest and transparent way. Do not lie
Respect
Always respect others even when they don't respect you. Just walk away when you are being disrespected
Respect others even when you disagree with them.
Treat others the way you want to be treated
Being Fair
Even when you may not agree with someone. It's best to be fair and not let your opinions prevent you from treating someone or something the fair way.
Accountability
Being accountable and held responsible for decisions made, actions taken, and things said.
Take ownership of mistakes made. Understand what can be done better next time
Follow through and do the things you said you will do.
Competence
Being able to complete a task when ask. Not saying yes when something is unknown.
Protect those whom cannot protect themselves
I will always stand up for someone I think is being bullied and done wrong.
