Plate Tectonics
Claim
I claim that plate tectonics move our earth and we are at. It changes the location of us. It also causes earthquakes, volcanos, tsunamis and fault lines.
Connection
My connection is riding a bike and this relates to plate tectonics because when you are on a bike you're always moving and you are moving in different directions
Evidence
My evidence is when plates move it changes where places such as California and San Diego will be side by side in millions of years because of the way the plates are moving. The plates that are moving are the North American and Pacific plates and they are transforming. Transform is when the plates move side by side in opposite directions.
Boundaries
There are multiple different boundaries and depending on where they are and how the move that will mean your transforming or divergent

continental drift is how our plate has geologically moved over time. They called it continental drift before it was called plate tectonics.

I claim that there are many ways to figure out how old rocks are. such as the oldest layer are farther down in the earth that's because new rocks and dirt formed a layer on top of that. There is also half life and you can figure out the life of a element or rock by knowing its half life.

My evidence is when we take uranium 238 it has a half life of 4.5 billion years and uranium 235 has a half life of 700 million years.

The best thing I learned and the thing I thought was most interesting was when I learned that in millions of years, the latest will move so much Las Angeles and San Fresisco will be right next to each other
