Perspective

When Europeans settled in Turtle Island they wanted to take ownership of the land because that is how they did it in Europe. But First Nations did not believe any one could own the land. This was a big difference and led to the Europeans thinking they could trade the land

Beaver wars
-
The Fur trade was a part of the Beaver wars because they the furs were wanted by the Europeans and this allowed the First Nations to get European goods (fire arms, blankets). If they did not have the furs, the First Nations would not have been able to get any of those goods.
During the beaver wars different First Nations would have relationships with the British and the French. This would change and the First Nations would fight over land as well like with the Iroquois Wars. The Haudenosaunee were first close with the British and fought the French but over the years the French and Haudenesse made peace.
