Korea
Geography
South Korea is located in the east of the Korean Peninsula, in East Asia.
Coast: Korea has a coastline of more than 2,413 km. The western part of Korea borders the East Sea / East Sea / Dagkhae, while the southern part borders the Yellow Sea / Yellow Sea / Hwanghae. Korea's coastline has many inlets, bays and small archipelagos.
Rivers: Korea has large river systems, of which the Han River and Nakdong River are the two main rivers. The Han River flows through Seoul and is the longest river in Korea. The Nakdong River flows along the southeast of the country.
Plains: Korea has several small plains, such as the Han Plain, Geum Plain, and Nakdong Plain. These plains are widely used for agriculture and settlement.
Islands: Korea has many small islands and archipelagos around the coast. The largest islands include Jeju, Ulleungdo and Ganghwado.
Climate: Korea has a continental climate in the north and a temperate climate in the south. Winters are cold and dry, while summers are hot and humid. Spring and fall are usually cool and pleasant times.

Architecture
Hanok (Korean Traditional House): Hanok is a traditional Korean house. These houses are often built from wood, have diagonal roofs and brick walls. Hanoks often have large courtyards and architecture that opens up to the surrounding natural landscape.
Gyeongbokgung: Gyeongbokgung is one of the largest and most representative palaces in Seoul. It was built in the 14th century and is a fine example of Joseon Dynasty temple architecture.
Jongmyo: Jongmyo is a place to worship the Joseon Dynasty king and queen. This is an important part of the UNESCO world cultural heritage. Jongmyo's architecture is religious and solemn.
Temples and pagodas: Korea has many beautiful temples and pagodas, such as Bulguksa and Seokguram. A special feature of Korean temple architecture is the wooden columns with curved and meticulous aspects.
Chungkingeum: Chungkingeum, or "din grand gate", is an ancient main street gate and a fine example of representative Korean architecture.
Customs
People :The oldest man is the head of the family, respected and obeyed by everyone. Meaningful holidays for every Korean family are Chusok (Mid-Autumn Festival), wedding or Tol (birthday ceremony).
Korean people are famous for being friendly and approachable
Communication behavior : Korean people speak very softly, they also appreciate people with a humble and courteous attitude. A slight nod or saying “yes” is very common in communication.
Family: Koreans often live in a family style with many generations in one house. The man is the breadwinner, the woman is a housewife. Therefore, the ideology of respecting men and degrading women still more or less exists in modern Korean society. To minimize this, the Korean government has issued many laws on gender equality and they have a separate ministry to manage this activity, the "Ministry of Gender Equality and Family".:
Clothing
Hanbok is a traditional Korean outfit from ancient times. But in modern times, this outfit is only worn on holidays, special anniversaries, or on wedding days for brides to wear.
Characteristic beauty : Hanbok exudes the discreet and shy beauty of Korean women and the dignity of men. Hanbok's multi-layered and discreet design also reflects the Korean people's ideology, which is deeply influenced by Confucianism and follows strict etiquette, including dressing.
Hanbok has two layers to adapt to cold and dry climates. The colors and patterns of Hanbok are especially rich, each color and pattern contains a certain meaning, but it can be generalized that it is the desire to integrate with nature and have a good life. prosperity, happiness and the desire to live together peacefully among nations.
Meaning : Associated with many important milestones in the founding history of Han Phuc, Hanbok therefore carries a very important meaning for the Korean people and has become a cultural symbol of this country. Up to now, every Korean still owns at least one set of Hanbok to wear when traveling, going out or on holidays, important occasions, etc.
