When an earthquake occurs a robot can help control the aftermath
Rover travels through area with high casualties and detects motion
it detects this motion through either motion or infrared sesnors
This allows emergency services to focus their search on areas with motion as this proves that their are still living people in that area
When an earthquake is about to occur, the robot can sense motion in the ground
The rover travels through area with high seismic activity and senses spikes
These spikes are detected through motion sensors
It then sends a warning to emergency services
The appropriate authorities can then respond to the situation by deploying units
A warning prior to the earthquake can be sent to the public
This allows them to prepare by moving to a safe place
It allows them to spread the word to those who haven't received the message through the mainstream servuces,
