Joan of Arc
In 1420 the French and English signed a treaty, saying if the French King Charles VI died Henry V would be crowned the King of French
Joan of Arc was a French peasant girl who felt that god wanted her to rescue France from the English treaty
13 when she had visions and started "hearing the voices of saints
She thought the saints wanted her to take the crown and give it to the son of the Charles VI, Charles VII
Joan led the french army to battle at a small fort city near Orléans.
The French retreated then charged randomly again, leading the French to victory.
Joan brought Charles to reims where he was crowned king .
In 1430 the allies of the English captured Joan and brought her to the English where they later gave Joan to the Church to stand trial
Joan was condemned as a Witch due to her "hearing" Voices
Charles VII didn't help Joan even though she helped him become king.
Do you think Joan could have taken the crown for herself and have power?
