The Romans invaded Britain in 43 AD and built cities as Londinium. Finally in 409 AD the Romans left Britain to defend their capital
The first tribe to invade Britain were the Anglo-Saxons bringing Christianity to the population
The first invaders of the Britain territory were the Iberians who built one of the most important historical beauties which is Stonehenge (2000 BC)
The Celts arrived in Britain around 700 BC and they were the ancestors of many of Irish,Scottish people
Vikings settled along the coast and founded cities like York
The last invaders of Britain were the Normans. Infact, the in the battle of Hasting in 1066 the normans leader, became King William I. This last settlement brought national unity to England and expanded its influence to Wales
Tudor monarchs ruled England from 1485 to 1603
An important event in this period was the Henry VIII's break with the Church of Rome
The reign of Elizabeth I, is called the Golden Age of Britain. This was charapterized by geographical explorations and economic development
Europe was divided between Protestants(England) and Catholics(Spain). The friction between these reigns get solved during the battle in which the Invincible Armada got defeated by English forces
