Hey, I hope you’ll have slept well when you read this. I’ve had quite a stressful time, after I called you I was a bit stressed about my mom, and felicity and marina had disappeared I guess? Marina was talking to the woman who cleans her house who’s Ukrainian, and she seemed quite distraught, but I didn’t think I could really get involved. But George and I had woken up at like 10 to marina saying we should go and work outside the house because the cleaner was coming, so we went down to get food but marina and felicity didn’t get up until something like 1pm, and then just ignored us at the table while we tried to figure out money and the summer, and that’s when I called you and texted my mom. Then we wanted to go and get food at something like 2pm, and went out but felicity and marina walked by themselves and didn’t really speak to us. We found a coffee shop, but on the way marina had said that her sister was coming back with friends, and her parents had thought we were only staying for a night so said she could let her friends stay over, which meant we’d have to leave. This was at like 4pm or something, and I was pretty stressed because it suddenly meant so much more travelling after we’d just bought tickets that morning for what was only supposed to be for me like an hours train journey on Friday. Instead, we were having to coordinate some 6h of trains to get back to Chedworth, sleep for two nights, and then get back to London to get the Eurostar. So that kind of stressed me out, especially because during this whole thing, marina and felicity just sat at the table and talked and were on their phones while we tried to figure out how the fuck we could arrange getting back. We managed to find something but would have to leave in the next half hour, so all but ran back, packed incredibly fast (literally didn’t even have time to get water) and pretty much ran to the railway station. Marina gave us our food to go, but didn’t even come outside to say goodbye or anything, and we only just managed to catch the train, but realised we still had marinas house keys. The trains were delayed apparently because someone got hit by a train (probably suicide obv) and our train got cancelled, so we had to try and take two different ones, running between almost all of them, only to then sit in a train and get a message from marina about how she was sorry we had to go, but that she was frustrated because it was sad that last night neither of us helped the Ukrainian girl they were “helping” (literally just talking to her and making sure she was okay to get a cab) and that we hadn’t properly checked with marina and her parents about staying over more than one night, because she thought we weren’t, and because in the morning when marina was talking to her cleaner, george had danced in the kitchen which had been really distressing for her. Other than really hurting me because we’d essentially put up with marina being really unwelcoming at her house, and all but ignoring us by just talking to felicity, but now she was blaming george for things that were really quite irrational and unfair and really did border on guilt tripping. Like suddenly she gives a fuck about Ukraine ?? Really ?? And it’s just really really unfair to guilt trip George when he can’t do anything about it anymore and is just definitely not a mean kind of guy??? And to make me pay £50+ and travel for 6h for that, and impose myself on someone else for 2 nights completely unexpectedly is just rly unfair ??
