Formative
Definition: The process of gathering evidence of students learning, by giving feedback and making adjustments to get the students to where they need to be.
Quiz: Playing aa kahoot game or taking a quiz will help show the teacher where the student is at in thier understanding.
KWL Chart: This will show the teacher what the students know, want to learn, and have learned.
Interim/ Benchmark
Definition: A way to navigate where students are in thier learning so that instruction can be adjusted.
Progress Reports: Reports of the students work that gets sent home, this is before report cards.
Benchmark test: This will be covering what the student have been covering in the past few weeks. This benchmark will show what the students know.
Summative

Final Project: students are to choose a module that we covered this year and write an essay about it.
Midterm Exam: Students will complete this exam to see how well they remember the overall material that was taught in class. This exam is taken at the end of the year or at the end of a module.

Performance
Definition: Is when students perform a task that is different approach than a test. This will specifically show what the students know.
Story book: Students will create story book over a given topic. This book will be over material learned in class.
Individual group projects: Students will work on a project by having more control in how the project is set up.
