Elizabeth’s dislike for Darcy grew significantly, while Darcy admired her intelligence .
Elizabeth visits Charlotte, where she sees Darcy.
He proposes but gets denied with the statement of breaking up Jane and Bingley and the denial of the inheritance for Wickhalm.
Darcy confesses his disbelief in Jane’s intentions and also discloses Wickhalm’s attempt to marry his 15 year old sister to gain possession of her fortune.

Shortly after, Lydia, the youngest sister of Elizabeth eloped with Wickhalm.
So the Bennet family’s reputation won’t be tarnished Darcy persuades Wickhalm by offering money to marry Lydia.
And also, at the encouragement of Darcy Bingley and Jane get engaged.
