2.6 The Internet Address
Definition: An IP address, short for Internet Protocol address, is a sequence of numbers that uniquely identifies the location of each computer or electronic device connected to the Internet or any other network.
Purpose: IP address is used to uniquely identify the location of each computer or device connected to the Internet which it used to send data and information
Why do we need IP addresses? IP addresses uniquely identify devices connected to a network. These addresses allow devices to communicate and exchange data with each other over the Internet.
