In linguistics, the Discourse describes a formal way in which we can express our ideas through language.

COHESION
It is a structure that makes a connection between other words to refer to the same person or thing in a text.
On the other hand, Cohesion helps that the texts have meaning when we read them.
The writers always used Cohesion because the structure helps to develop a good text and the reader can interpret the text.
CONVERSATION ANALYSIS
It is an activity in which two o more people talk about any topic, and they wait their turn to participate in the talk.
In Linguistics CA tries to analyze through the interaction how people can communicate with the language.
The participants are always waiting for the moment to talk when the other person indicates that they have ended of talk.
HEDGES

For example: Maybe, might, probably, suggest, perhaps, think, etc.
In other words, Hedges is a word or phrase in which the statement to communicate is forceful or assertive.
SCHEMAS AND SCRIPTS
Schemas are the knowledge that we use to interpret different meanings to make sense of what we hear or read.
Scripts can be similar to Schemas but in this case, the Scripts an actions that we do at any time event our daily routines.
In other words, people can have different scripts depending on the event that develops.

The pauses before or after the verbs and not at the end do not allow us to understand what we want to express.

BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE
It is the knowledge that we must interpret or choose different meanings that the text can share with us.
It is the amount of information that one person can have like knowledge and helps to understand the different way the text.
