There are 7 main types of fitness components which are relevant in all sports. In aquathlon the three main componenets relevant are muscualr endurance, aerobic endurance and strength. Muscualr endurance can be seen in aquathlon as arms and legs are predominant for the swimming and running event, and is essential that these muscles do not get tired. Hence this leads to strength, resistance of water whilst swimming and elevations of ground. Finally, aeorbic endurance is required as aquathlon is for a long period of time.
