Why were changes in financial services necessary to expand trade?
Feudal Lords imposing fees, taxes, and rents interfered with burghers trade and commerce

With no sewers cities most people dumped their waste in the middle of streets.
With no control in the cities all serfs had to do was live within a city or a town for a year and then they were free according to a custom
Hygiene was better in the country because there was a lot more room to expand your land and you are able to get rid of human and animal waste in a good way that doesn't effect everyday life
