CONCEPT
Content and Language Integrated Learning is a YouTube project designed for subject and language teachers, teacher trainers, and educators interested in CLIL. CLIL is an umbrella term that can be used in all situations where the integration of content and language takes place. It is not dual-focused but rather aims to enable students to use the language effectively to express their subjects.
TYPES
Hard CLIL
It´s where the subject is delivered in a foreign language in a subject class by a subject teacher who might not be a native speaker of the target language.
Soft CLIL
It´s where some content is delivered in the language class by a language teacher, such as English. Both types should be subject-driven and not language-driven.
BASED ON
Subjects like Physics, History, PE, and Biology. As the world becomes more complex, school systems are trying to close the gaps between subject curricula.

The shifting idea
The focus from grammar and vocabulary to other subject curricula, students can show the language as a tool rather than a goal in itself.
