correlations between Candain and ethnic tend to be stronger han etghnic and relgious but are only postive for Catholcism and for other relgions but not significant for protestantism and Islam (here they include the no affilication to relgion observations)

what was the purpose? is the purpose clear? clear need for study? will study add to the body of lit. in the field?
it is clear what the researchers hope to find out from the research gap and the goal stated; future comfirmation that multiple identites are assocaited with higher well being and infer if relgious idenity also plays a role

it adds to liturature since there isn't a lot in the feild of relgious studies and acculuration in canada; however it is limited since its a correlational study so results do not imply causation. So they why still needs to be dug out
