Scraps Scoop
This is where we keep scraps of things such as paper. Random materials to use like squeeze apple sauce lids, bottle caps, empty plastic bottles.
INNOVATIVE DESIGNER
Students use a variety of technologies within a design process to identify and solve problems
by creating new, useful or imaginative solutions
Textiles
This is where there will be a sewing machine, rug tufter, fabric, hot glue, pompoms.
Creation Station
This is where I will keep materials such as legos, magnetic tiles, and k'nex.

Painting parts
Area with water color paint, acrylic paint, puff paint, brushes, foam stamps, paper, canvas, and easels.

Classroom Philosophy
This space would be integrated into a large spaced classroom. Students would have opportunities throughout subjects to learn more by exploring a topic or to express what they have learned through different makers space areas. The goal is that these areas will be used as an everyday area not something once and a while. The students will have creative freedom and time to use their critical thinking and problem solving skills when in these spaces. This will build both independent skills as well as collaboration skills.
