Hyaline Cartilage covers area of bone that is not part of joints.-Diaphyses: Tubular shaft, long axis of bone
-Epiphyses: Ends of long bones, contain spongy bone
-Epiphyseal line: Remnant of childhood epiphyseal plate where bone growth occurs
-Periosteum: White, double-layered membrane, doesn't cover joints.
-Fibrous Layer: Outer layer consists dense irregular CT - Osteogenic Layer: Inner layer, primitive osteogenic stem cells
