Bone Remodeling
There are 2 methods of connective tissue replacement & they form by replacing existing connective tissue in the fetus
-
-
Bone-resorbing cells, called osteoclasts break down the calcified matrix
Bone-building cells, called osteoblasts deposit bone in place if calcified cartilage
-
Bone fracture repair
Bone-resorbing & bone-building cells ( osteoclasts & osteablast) take part and the medullary cavity forms in diaphysis, as osteocytes erode bone. The medullary cavity eventually fills with bone marrow which produces blood cells
Male & Female Difference
The difference between male & female is the female, for example, have a larger pelvis. The reason being that woman get pregnant and need to give birth so their pelvic hole is wider. Men don't need to so theirs is smaller, and their pelvis isn't as wide as the females but males are thicker than females.
