causes:HIV, exposed to high level inoizing radiation, FH, herbicides, pesticides
leukemia:ALL, AML, CLL, CML
S/S:fever, night sweeting, weight loss, anemia, tied,weak, dizzy, lightheadache, fatigue, SOB, pale skin,petechia bruises, splenomegaly, hepatomegaly, lymphodenopathy,bone pain, mengingcal irritation,oral leision
risk factors: exposure to high levels of radiation. repeated exposure to certain chemical. chemotherapy, down syndrome, FH
myeloma
increase BUN-kidney failure, hypo/hyper calcemia, decrease hemoglobin, kidney sotne, N/V, loss of weight, constipation, electrolyte imbalance,swelling of the extremities.
treatment: blood cell infusion, bone marrow tansplant, medicines to boost cell production
treatments:chemotherapy,colony stimulating medicines, immunotherapy, target therapy, radiation, bone marrow transplant
bone marrow transplant complications:HSOS, GVHD
because of treatment the complications: superior vena syndrome; cardiac tamponade, sepsis, acute tumor lysis syndrome, increase intracranial pressure.
