My Methods
Differentiating reading and writing strategies
Using small groups to help students work on a particular skill.
Providing students with feedback to help encourage and correct writing.
Developing engaging lessons to make the learning more entertaining.
My Beliefs
Students should be able to have freedom in what they write.
Being told what to write makes writing seem like a chore.
Students are less engaged and uninterested in writing.
Students have a harder time attempting to write creatively.
Forcing students to always write a certain way can lead to a hatred in writing for students.
Students should have more time to complete free writing activities.
This helps students to be more creative!
This gives students the opportunity to practice their writing skills!
Giving students more time to write will help create students who enjoy writing!
Students should be exposed to many different forms of literature.
This exposes students to many different writing styles and topics.
Students are able to learn about other cultures and environments!
Students can learn that there's more than one way to express themselves.
Students have a better opportunity to find something they enjoy.
Students may find a topic they are passionate about.
Inspiration comes from all around us!
Not every student will become inspired from the same thing, it is important to expose them to a variety of topics!
