Why ?
They did this on the eve of Remembrance Day
They wanted to recreate a scene from the Battle of Mont Sorrel, in which 8,000 Canadian soldiers died in Belgium in June 1916.
They want to honour the persons that served In the War
Who ?
The people that participate to this experience are a group of 27 students some not much younger and their teacher

For this class they traded the classroom by a trench scraped from a northern Alberta field.
They cant imagine what they went through
They was working about the first World War
They prefered to be in the situation of the soldiers. They tried this life changing experience
When ?
That was the afternoon but they slept there for the night and the temperature hovered near –30 C.
