Cape Town - A settlement created by dutch immigrants that was the first permanent European settlement to supply ships sailing to and from the east indies
The Boers - They were Dutch farmers and they believed that they were superior than African Americans and believed they were sent by god
Slave Trade
Missionaries - a person sent on a religious mission, especially one sent to promote Christianity in a foreign country
Plantations - These were large plots of land that had slaves on them who weren't paid or given decent rights. This was mainly in the Americas.
Affonso 1 - Was a ruler in the Kongo. Expanded The kingdom south and east. Spread Christianity.

Monopoly - The exclusive control of a business or industry.
Asante Kingdom - This was made in what is now known as Ghana. Was unified by Osei Tutu.
Osei Tutu - Was known for being a military leader. Won control over trading in Kumasi. Conquered neighbors. Unified the Asante Kingdom
Oyo Empire - This empire became as big as it was from the trading of slaves. They used the money to build up an army and make an empire.
