Key Points
To Make a phone that can be self-repaired and self-upgraded by the user.
No need for the company to help fixing it.
Get the updated components while using the same phone.
This is done by just swapping modules, and buying what you need.
What is it?
What is it?
- A value proposition is the fundamental concept of exchange of value between your business and your customers / clients.
- Generally, value is exchanged from a customer for money when a problem is solved, or a pain is relieved for them by your business.
Simple: A phone that can be self-repaired and self-upgraded by the user using components that can be plugged in and out like Lego bricks. This is to make the phone last longer and be more reusable.
To make a phone that can be repaired and upgraded by the user without the help of a company.
"If the module is broken, you can buy a new one for a cheap price and replace it by swapping the module."
"Have you ever wanted a phone that can be self-repaired and self-upgraded without having to replace the entire phone? Introducing ModuFy, a modular phone inspired by Google's Project Ara and Fairphone that is built to be repairable, and easily upgradable because of its modular capabilities."
Customer Segment
High Priority
File-Hoarders / Data-Hoarders
A person who prefers to keep one phone for a long time to avoid transferring files frequently.
Technophiles
Medium Priority
Eco-Friendly Consumers
An environmentally friendly person wants to own a phone for communication and web browsing purposes so he tries to look for a phone that produces the least E-Waste.
Money-Saving Person
A person wants a cost-effective solution where he can replace only the broken or outdated parts instead of the whole phone.
A person who likes to tinker with technology.

Modular phones could potentially be attractive to data hoarders for a few reasons:
Storage Flexibility: Modular phones, like Google’s Project Ara, allow users to customize their devices with different modules. This means a user could opt for a larger storage module if they tend to accumulate a lot of data.
Longevity: One of the key selling points of modular phones is their longevity. Instead of replacing the entire phone when one part becomes obsolete or breaks, you simply replace that module. This could appeal to data hoarders who prefer to keep their data in one place over a long period of time.
Data Management: With the ability to add modules dedicated to specific functions, data hoarders could potentially use these to better manage and organize their data. For example, a module could be used solely for photos, another for documents, etc.

Why?
Which partners are we identifying?
The reason that Google's Project Ara didn't sell was because it was such a unique idea, the mass market isn't ready for a modular phone and preferred a typical sleek and slim phone.
YouTube
Why Manufacturing?
Physical Display: So that we can have a physical product to display, so we need to create the product to show to our potential customers.
Frame
How?
Why?
Establish a dedicated R&D team to test the feasibility and functionality of your modular design.
Sample Modules that can be used with the frame.
Also, to have something to show at potential customers.
This is useful so that we can get background info about the technology of modular phones and the strategies of previous companies creating modular phones. We will also study the tech background of Google's Project Ara.
We've been doing that for the past 5 weeks!

For Revenue Streams
Our company plans to create just the base model of the phone so that's where all the companies will base the modules on, and also provide some modules for it as a starting point just for a demo.
Finding potential investors to fund the project.
Conduct research such as surveys to understand the target audience, market demand, pricing strategies, and the competitive landscape.
If there are potential customers, we can proceed with finding potential company partners.
To help us manufacture the phone such as the endoskeleton/frame and the needed modules for the demo product.
Set up Kick Starters and ask for capital or grants from Venture Capitals
They can provide us the necessary resources.
Show them our business plan and our product's documentation and see if they like it.
Explain to them the purpose of this project and how it can benefit society.

How are we reaching them now?
Social Networks is very easy to access today, so we'll be using that.
How are our channels integrated?
They work together, Social Networks can be used for quick updates and announcements about the project.
For the Blog Site, this is where we will put all the official information and updates about the project, and for presence outside of social media, this is to make us look professional and legit.
I think Facebook and YouTube will work best as this are the social media platforms with the most active users. Facebook (2.9 billion monthly active users) Facebook for quick updates and announcements for the project and YouTube for long form content and the trailer of the project.
Interacting with Technophiles
Interacting with Data Hoarders
I would interact with Money-Saving people by suggesting them that a repairable phone will cost you less than replacing a phone every 5 years. This would get the money-saving person hooked.
To interact with data hoarders, introduce them to ModuFy, the modular phone and how you can be able to hot-swap storage modules while the phone is turned on. Being able to have a storage module just for one specific purpose. Example, 50 GB of storage module just for photos and 50 GB storage module just for documents. And the Data Hoarder doesn't have to worry about managing the files manually in their file system explorers.
In Reddit, there's a subreddit called r/DataHoarders where it's a group full of people who have the same way of thinking, which is deleting data is bad because it may contain important info.
They are mostly active in Reddit where they talk to fellow tech people.
I would try to survey them about what's their thoughts about modular phones. If they're interested, I could advertise them about this modular phone that I've been working on.
