      - Subtraction is not commutative, which means that the order of numbers matters. In mathematical notation, a - b is not necessarily equal to b - a. For example, 5 - 3 is not the same as 3 - 5.
    - - Addition: when you add three or more numbers, the grouping of the numbers does not affect the sum. For example:
        (a + b) + c = a + (b + c)
      - Subtraction is not associative, which means that the grouping of numbers matters. In mathematical notation, (a - b) - c is not necessarily equal to a - (b - c).
    - - There is no identity property for subtraction in the set of real numbers. In other words, there is no real number you can subtract from another real number to get the same number as the result, unlike addition where the identity element is 0 (a + 0 = a).
