I have never had formal training to promote more ethical reasoning with my biases, mode of thinking, judgement rendering, and how to “best” surface those elements a discussion. Critical reasoning is a characteristic that I have long thought to be a strength of mine, but just recently realized it’s more-so on the basis of science, data, or clear-cut facts rather than opposed to ethics. Tools like the Potter box, social identity mapping, and Project Implicit that have revealed blind spots about myself I likely would have never discovered without this course
