Chapter 2
2.1
Being successful means making things that are important a top priority.Your attitude, who you spend your time with, and staying motivated are big factors that play into this.
Being motivated and focused is key to being successful because if you have a positive attitude towards things and you have the right mind to get things done and not slack off
Changing your attitude and becoming positive will make everyday more enjoyable. You will be more willing to stay on top of school work, doing everyday activities would be more exciting, and overall you'd be productive with your time.
You are who who surround yourself with. It's okay to have friends that can be negative but eventually it will rub off on you. It's more fun to be around people who are committed to school work and who have an upbeat personality. The transition from high school to college can be overwhelming. Instead of focusing on the workload or how you don't have as much free time look at the positives. Your hard work will lead to an amazing future, you meet so many new people, and will grow within yourself.
Never multitask when studying, if you do other actives it lowers the quality of your study so it’s better you stay focused on one thing
2.2
Have a organized space and a place you can feel motivated. This space should fit your needs for studying such as a computer and a space for writing.
Pick a space that does not include other distractions such as eating, tv, sleeping, etc. This space should also be someplace you can study the way you like. for example: quiet, clean, and empty.
You should be able to go to the space whenever you need it. Do not pick someplace that had specific hours because you may need to go to this study space anytime of the day.
Plan ahead if you do not have a designated study space. For example: if you have an important exam coming up, find someplace you can study in ahead of time.
