Who Wanted the Land and WHY?
England
Treaty of Utrecht: From before, to after the Treaty of Utrecht, the British probably gained and progressed the most. They claimed the whole Hudson Bay territory, and barely lost any land from their original territory.
After the Treaty of Utrecht, they were probably the most powerful player in the war, and had the most land. That means that they had the best trading potential
Hats that they were trading
Spanish
Spain was lost very badly in the war. They were booted out of the Northern part of North America, and was only able to colonize a bit of Mexico. They then moved down to South America, and colonized a lot of land down there.
France
The French and the British thought that the land that the First Nations knew as Turtle Island could be claimed by anyone. They were very racist, and thought of the First Nations as savages and wild beasts.
The French were the first to start trading with the First Nations, therefore, establishing a good relationship from the start. The French had a lot of their land near the St. Lawrence River.
Treaty of Utrecht: From before and after the Treaty of Utrecht, the French didn't gain or lose a lot of land, they only lost a small bit.
Haudenosaunee(First Nations)
The Beaver Wars
Significance: A big significant effect of the Beaver Wars was that many First Nations groups were forced to disperse and were not able to survive all the raiding and wars, therefore, not being able to exist anymore. Mostly, the Haudenosaunee were raiding all of the First Nations groups, as they were very powerful at that time, but were eventually forced to make peace with the French.
In the end, the First Nations were the ones who lost, as a lot of them got raided, and they got their land and their rights. A lot of them after that were treated unfairly and were exposed to racism
Details: During the Beaver Wars, the Haudenosaunee attempted to assert control in the fur trade, and tried to get more land in order to get more fur. That gives them more wealth and resources. Trading with the French was very important for them.

What was the Treaty of Utrecht? The Treaty of Utrecht was a treaty signed in 1713 by the French, and the British. Spain didn't sign the treaty because they didn't have a king. It is a peace agreement and changed how wars ended for a very long time. Instead of fighting until the very end, they would sometimes talk it out wand sign a treaty.
