bonds.
-
Ionic bonds: ions are formed when an atom loses or gains an electron. When a atom gives a electron to another atom it is now attracted to the new atom like magnets.
Covalent bonds: a covalent bond is the strongest bond and it is when one atom shares an electron with another atom. It is the strongest bond.
there are 3 bonds, covalent, ionic, and hydrgen bonds.

Electrons, nutrons, protons.
Protons are positive, electrons are negative, and neutrons are neutral.
Protons: make up the nucleus. Big mass

Polar and non polar
Polar and non polar
A polar bond: is oppositly charged each side of a polar molecule has either a positve and negative side, thing such as water, is polar, a polar molecules is asymmetric.
non polar bond: has no charge. Things such as CO2 is nonpolar it is symmetrical. Oil is non polar which means it has no charges and it cannot make a hydrogen bond with water and it is unable to mix.
germination.
Quality of water can greatly affect how quickly something can germinate. Light levels and tempature can also greatly effect how quickly something such as a radish seed can germinate.

water
Water is called the universal solvent because it can dissolve more substances that any other liquid.
Every water molecule is attracted to eachother because of the way a water molecule is build, one side is a positive side and the other is a negative so the negative attaches lightly to the positive side and creates a hydrogen bond.
