We have sprawled laterally, stacked upward, shot up and now are discussing reclaiming a new footprint into the shoreline. the opportunity offered by going down, reclaiming the scars created in the very act of building what is, is therefore not just very poetic, but pregnant with real potential.
Aware of the inherent beauty and potential of experimenting with and pushing a return to the natural element of Earth, The workshop does not want to remain simplistic and uni-dimensional. The architectural act is to employ materials selectively, going beyond the obvious use of traditional stonework and grafting onto the earth to propose a novel vision with a real potential for a significant dialogue with future potential.
