Types of discrimination
Religious Discrimination: Religious discrimination occurs when individuals are treated unfairly because of their religious beliefs or practices. This can include workplace discrimination, harassment, or religious profiling.
National Origin Discrimination: Discrimination based on a person's country of origin or nationality is considered national origin discrimination. It can affect immigration policies, housing, and employment.
Sex Discrimination: This type of discrimination is related to an individual's biological sex. It includes issues like gender-based violence, workplace harassment, and unequal opportunities based on sex.
Disability Discrimination: This involves treating people unfairly due to their physical or mental disabilities. Discrimination can take the form of inaccessible buildings, lack of accommodations, or exclusion from certain activities.
Sexual Orientation Discrimination: This form of discrimination targets individuals based on their sexual orientation. It includes discrimination against LGBTQ+ individuals, such as denying them housing, employment, or services because of their sexual orientation.
Racial Discrimination: This involves treating people unfairly or negatively because of their race, ethnicity, or nationality. It can manifest as racial slurs, stereotypes, racial profiling, or unequal opportunities based on race.
Acceptance of identity
Currently, discrimination is one of the biggest challenges that society has, since despite there being several initiatives to combat it, we can still see it present in various places, from school to work.
Understanding
People who are discriminated don't feel the understanding of anyone and the people who discriminate don't practice understanding
Fairness
When talking about discrimination, we can say that fairness is lacking because they do not receive the same treatment as others.

Safety
People who is being discriminated feel threatened by their surroundings because of how somebody can harm them.
Accountability
People that discriminate against other people - in most cases - do not even recognize that they are in the wrong and do not take responsibility for their actions
Independence
People that are being discriminated against usually do not have the freedom to act on their own because they are restricted in the way they think and act
Benefit of the Doubt
People that discriminate against other people of a team or group, are usually not perceived as trustworthy and are mistrusted because they are violating commonly acceoted ethical standards - such as not discriminating against someone else because of their individual lifestyle.
Recognition
Many people nowadays do not recognize that discrimination is still a problem in our society, even when somethimes the ones that are in denial, are the ones doing this action against others.
Solution
A systemic solution to discrimination could be to implement laws against discrimination and carrying out awareness campaigns
