Arrange Furniture to create a space where students can gather
The signal
"The Signal" is some sort of sign or phrase that a teachers can use to get students attention. This is similar to call and response and is a cue that tells learners they need to turn their attention to the teacher
Here are some examples:
Quiet Coyote, Catch a Bubble, 123 all eyes on me, if you can hear my voice clap x times, have a seat take a load off your feet, everyone please get in line by the time I count to 5
