Suffragettes - Coggle Diagram

- - - - At the time it was created was pacific and had no political intent.
      - They were protesting for the right to vote for middle class women.
- - - - Emmeline Pankhurst was part of this movement but she had grown impatient with the middle class men.
        
        So in 1903 she decided to quit the movement and created: WSPU (women's social and political union), it was a society that fought for women's rights.
        
        She was an educated woman and married Dr Richard Pankhurst, a respected man of their time.
