Death rates are high as many men are dying out on the battlefield

Birth rates are low as men are away at war and women are left alone with no partners. In other words lest pregnancies

After their near death experiences, when the fortunate soldiers return home they want to have families while they still can as in the back of their minds they are scared whether or not they may be called to participate in another war

Since there was such a boom in birth rates, this generation of children were called boomers

Equality

In poorer countries many people die due to diseases they catch from drinking unsafe and unsanitary dirty water. This is a main factor in why death rates are much higher in poorer countries

When the water quality improves many people live longer lives as they are less likely to catch diseases such as cholera

A healthier diet can lead to less healthy risks in the future and a longer lifespan. For example someone who balances their diet with fruit and veg, carbs, protein, treats ect will be much healthier than someone who constantly consumes junkfood, carbs ect.

When women are offered jobs and are not just expected to manage the home then birth rates decline as some women may like to focus on their career instead of having children,

If women receive a better education they may land a job and kickstart a career. However nowadays, maintaining a healthy lifestyle is expensive and many women and men don’t have enough money to support multiple children or even one child so birth rates decline

Bacteria and germs are every where and if we are not sanitary then we risk catching viruses, bugs ect. Some poorer countries may not have the facilities to provide its people with sanitary bathrooms, utensils such as hand sanitizer dispensers ect.

Instead of walking on foot every where we go we can now drive. This reduces deaths from fungus that we may catch if we walk barefoot. Or perhaps dying from dehydration while walking.

However, motorised vechiles have their dangers. There have been many accidents on the roads involving pedestrians, other drivers, animals ect.

This also decreases the time it takes to transport goods such as food, hygiene products ect

This helps the growth of crops. It makes crops less likely to catch fungi and deseases which would result in low food supply, famine and deaths

However, accidents can happen with machinery resulting in deaths.

Now due to mobile phones you can get in contact with people with a click of a button. So in an emergency situation you can alert the police, pari medic’s, etc to reduce the risks of death

Now due to search engines such as Google people can learn how to manage their health by learning how to do things such as cook healthy recipes and how to exercise properly.

Many people can now travel abroad to recieve life saving surgeries

More medical, food, technological resources etc being shared out with different countries resulting in population growth

move- ments of people within and across national and international borders, resulting in more connections between countries and alliances being formed.

Doctors help deliver babies and cure people. They reduce death rates and increase birth rates

Vaccinations can prevent someone from catching a deadly disease that could potentially kill them

Antibiotics aid people with their recovery once they are ill

Dependence on a particular food that becomes infected can result in thousands of deaths. Eg, the Irish famine and the potato blight

A years worth of crops being destroyed and resulting in shortage of food and people may die from starvation

A balanced diet can result in people living longer and healthier life. We should not only eat processed food

We now know how to grow and maintain our crops so that there is a smaller risk of famine.

There is not as much dependence on one crop. Eg, the potato
