Text A: It is worth going to university
you only get out what you put in
access to fantastic learning resources
it's not just universities that have fantastic learning resources
experience is the best way to learn (eg. business)
latest research
lots of universities actually haven't updated their research
just Google it or read specific publications
leadership skills
some people are natural leaders, don't need to go to university for this
not a guarantee if you don't put yourself in leadership positions
communication skills
communication skills can be built outside the classroom / lectures
experience in administration
high chances of finding a job/further studies
it's not worth the risk of spending 10 years learning something then if you don't get a job, you are just sitting at home
not all jobs require a degree
a degree is not always enough, you need to be up to date with tech, extra qualifications, apprenticeships, multiple languages
having connections is often more valuable than a degree
sometimes you need work experience BEFORE university
guidance in your chosen specialisation
just getting the degree is not enough, you still have to do stuff after that to be successful with it
expert feedback
loans for tuition and living costs
debts are difficult to pay off if you don't get a scholarship or high-paying job
industrious students can develop themselves
career weeks/career advice
not everyone wants a career, I just want to live my life
