History
First appearance
The first appearance of a diorama was exhibited in Pairs in July 1822
The inventors of the Diorama were Louis Jacques Mandé Daguerre and Charles Marie Bouton
Origin
The word diorama originated in 1823 as a type of picture-viewing device, from the French in 1822. The word literally means through that which is seen, from the Greek di- "through" + orama "that which is seen, a sight".
Types
Architectural
People may use Architectural dioramas to plan out the area for a house, shop, factory or even a town to be built. Using dioramas, it becomes much easier to pinpoint more accurate coordinates

Entertainment dioramas are often based on specific media, whether it be from a tv show, movie, book or game. These tend to be background pieces in an attempt to bring more focus to the overshadowed pieces.
Museum
Most Dioramas are housed in museums, as they allow for a more in depth analysis of one or more particular things.
Topographical
A topographical diorama is just a diorama that focuses on a specific landscape or landmnark.
Purposes
The purpose for a diorama is to showcase a higher depth of learning for a certain subject or topic. They are usually used in order to help explain or show something which was prior difficult to understand or depict.
You can use dioramas to plan concept art for certain projects. Such as architectural dioramas.
