Students also have another impact as stakeholders as people who should primarily benefit from school. Many students have a voice, or should, within their own classroom and can be leaders in terms of managing their own learning.
Students can also give great insight through extra cirricular activities and often act as representatives of the school to others outside our own community. This includes sporting teams to open nights at school, where students act as a voice to whether they are proud members of the school.
Students can also be the greatest advocates for themselves and others and be voices and feedback for Self School Evaluation and whether there is successful methods to implement UDL and all students needs are met in the school
Parents
Parents act in some capacity as a voice of our students, who may not be confident/old enough to speak for themselves. Parents are a crucial aspect of School Self Evaluation.
Parents can have a more direct impact as stakeholders themselves through Parents Association, Board of Management and in Parent Teacher meetings. Relationship between staff and parent is crucial for shared value of education and progress, and for the fulfillment of the development of the student in all capacities.
Parents are responsible for the wellbeing of their children to and from school and are responsible for sourcing nutrition, support, transport and wellbeing to and from school. Without parents performing their role, no education can occur.
