Tissue(Lots of similar cells working together)
Nervous
responsible for electrical signals that communicate information about sensations, and for initiating actions like movements.
Found in the Brain, Spinal Cord, Nuerons Nerves
Muscle
smooth muscle covers all the bodies surfaces- lines body cavities and organs.
3 types of muscle tissue; skeletal, cardiac, and smooth.
Muscles help your body move, by contracting they move your body for all normal activities like walking, running and jumping.
Muscle is all over your body and controls all of your movements.
Connective tissue
Transports nutrients and wastes around the body. Defends against pathogens in the body. Helps store fat and rebuild damaged tissue. It also helps with structural support in the body.
The connective tissue is located throughout the body. In the joints and around organs like the brain.
Some examples would be blood, ligaments, tendons and cartilage.
Epithelial
Found by organs and glands, skin
Covers all the bodies surfaces, lines the organs and is the main tissue in glands
