Doc 2A: The TV professional's Arguments (90% Real)
the food
The criticisms are correct: the food is tasty but mushy. I had eaten there many times before the show was filmed.
They are not cooks but caterers. The food was precooked and reheated.
the cleanliness
The rat was not planted. They had had rat problems before.
The restaurant was not dirty but the neighbourhood was.
the acting
The emotions are real and not faked.
They use techniques to put people in panic mode and provoke dramatic reactions.
the editing
Scenes aren't created from nothing.
They reorder some scenes for a better narrative.
Doc 2B: The TV viewer's Arguments (Not Real)
the food
Gordon Ramsay just wants to criticise the food even when he knows nothing about it.
ex: he doesn't know middle-eastern food such as hummus very well
the cleanliness
Nobody is stupid enough to leave their restaurants so dirty for a TV show.
The owners would clean before the cameras arrive.
the acting
The persons must be instructed as there are exemples of bad acting.
The reactions are always the same across the episodes, it never changes.
the editing
There is never positive feedback from the customers.
The positive feedback must be edited out of the show.
