Location:I know because the region didn´t have a name, but the ancient Greeks called it ¨Mesopotamia,¨ which means the land between rivers. Also, an example is that ¨two great rivers flow southward through the Middle East,"which were called the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. (Steele 6)

Writing: In the text it says"Scribes had to be experts in writing hieroglyphs, an elaborate form of picture writing with about 700 different signs".

Ancient India
Writing: In the text it says that their language was one of the most hard and confusing part of learning about ancient civilization, because their undecipherable. There have been several many more than 400 symbols uncovered so far, and they have found been found in different locations. Most of the symbols have been found on sealds, ceramic pots, and many other materials.
Religion: Most of the stuff people know about them came from Vedas, which is mostly religious text. And they told great stories of invading India. The original version of Hinduism, was Brahmanism, as it was polytheistic.
Architecture/Technology: In the text is says that the people that lived in or around the Indus Valley made well thought out and planned cities. The people of that time really cared about hygiene, so they made their cities resemble that. These houses and cities were very sanitary, and they had advanced systems that could redirect the bad water to go to the drains.
Location: Near 5,00 years ago, a civilization began along and in the Indus River alluvial plain. It was a good place for farming, because there was fertile land, and water near it. Over time there were a big variety of settlements were built around the river.
Government: The Aryan civilization had made a big change in the India we know today, and the reason that is, is because of the caste system. A caste system is when your born something and you stay that way for the rest of your life. The caste system began because the Aryans had a four group classes, the way you get your caste is by occupation, and wealth.
