location: : In the text it said that tow great rivers,the Tigris southward in the Middle East.Also.on page 6 it sadi that mesopotamia '' extended into parts of what is now turkey , syria and southwestern Iran.'
government: In the text it says, they were ruled by a king that represented the gods. The text also said, The king had all control of the land.
art: Mesopotamia were talented stonemasons who cared large sculptures and detailed
religion: In the text it said, they were polytheistic and that means they believed that there are multiple gods. Also in the text it said,they send gifts up to the top of the ziggurat for the gods to take. (steele 14)
writing: In the text it said they used cuneiform to speak and write to each other. Also it said, They wrote on little clay blobs for paper.(steele 12)
architecture: A palace for the emperor and the priest to do the offerings. This is called a ziggurat it is a temple like structure that has like the entire city in it. There is only one ziggurat that has been standing and looks the best. The base of it was 205 feet by 141 feet. It was completely made out of bricks and straw mixed with mud

Religion: page 26: The ancient egyptians had a lot of gods and goddesses. They had very many to worship, and they had to go to temples to worship. They had a king pharaoh that had conquered the underworld, and had the underworld god banished the other gods, then one of the gods restored themselves back (somehow). This is all a polytheistic thing.
government: In the text it says ¨ The king was not only the most powerful and important man in egypt he was thought to be a god.¨ In the text it also says ¨ In the palace where the king lived there was also the queen who was also seen as a goddess but was referred to as ¨great royal wife.¨ ![images (8)

writing: The writing for the ancient: Egyptians is called Hieroglyphics. It is a picture language, that means that what the writing was about was pictures, and what happened. They used this on temples and many other things, and there was a fast version. The fast version is used for laws and stuff.
