Mesopotamia
location: The author wrote that the ancient greeks called the area Mesopotamia which means between the rivers because it was located between the Tigris and the Euphrates Rivers. Also, the graphic showed that " most of ancient Mesopotamia lay within the borders of modern Iraq." (Steele 6)
government:I know this because the government is polytheism to have the power of the god. I also know because my notes say that polytheism is for the power of the king. (page 7)

In the text it said that " The Mesopotamians mastered many technology's and crafts at an early point in their history". The author also wrote "they molded clay into very simple pots by the 8th millennium.
religion: The author wrote " The sumerians worshipped many gods and goddesses." The author also wrote " the stars were cows of sin or Nanna, the horned moon god." (Steele 14) "
architecture:The author wrote the ziggurats were a massive terraced platform made of bricks, used for rituals and for priests to worship their god. On page 24 it says " the ziggurats had small temples or shrines on top, reached by long stairways".(Steele 24)
writing
The author wrote " Early people who lived as hunters and nomads did not need written records." The graphic also says "As the first cities arose, people began to require records of ownership, business deals, and government " (Steele 12).
